The DNA of the comedian Stephen Colbert will be digitized and sent to the International Space Station, The Associated Press reported. Richard Garriott, a video-game designer, is planning to travel to the station in October and deposit Mr. Colbert’s data as part of a project called ‘Immortality Drive.’ For the project, Mr. Garriott is creating a time capsule composed of digitized human DNA. ‘In the unlikely event that Earth and humanity are destroyed, mankind can be resurrected with Stephen Colbert’s DNA,’ Mr. Garriott said in a statement. ‘Is there a better person for us to turn to for this high-level responsibility?’
